Adult and Teen Lectors
Lectors are those men and women who proclaim God’s Word at weekday and weekend Masses and at special services. Good public speaking skills and a passion for the Word of the Lord are required for this ministry.

| Required of the Volunteer | Practicing Catholic, of college age and older, registered parishioner in good standing with the Church. Must exhibit high quality reading skills with ability to proclaim well the Word of God. Love for Scripture and willingness to reflect on its message. | |

| Training Required | Audition required. If accepted must attend 2 workshops. Required to attend an annual workshop. | |
| When is Training | Scheduled as needed. | |
| Time Commitment: | Weekend lectors read once every 3-4 weeks. Must be committed to spend needed time in preparation before each assignment. | |

Teen Lectors proclaim the Word of the Lord at the 8:30 am Masses and 5:00 pm Life Teen Masses on Sunday. Parents should be registered Espiritu Santo parishioners.
