| | From the Pastor… It’s hard to believe that nine years have passed since that sad day, September 11, 2001, when tragedy struck in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. We continue to remember and pray for those who perished in the 9-11 attacks and for their loved ones left behind. And we continue to work for a more peaceful world where such events are only history. This weekend, I am speaking at all the Masses regarding two things. First, our Annual Pastoral Appeal for the Diocese of St. Petersburg is going well and I want to update us on our support of the work of our diocese and how we can continue to participate. Second, as our diocese plans for the future, we are being invited to be part of a survey in a process called, “Serving God’s People.” This survey is to measure the opinions and perspective of as many parishioners as possible regarding our parish and our ministries here. This survey can be accessed at our website, espiritusanto.cc and there are also copies available that can be filled out by hand. Please check out our website or get a paper copy and complete this important survey! And let us continue to pray for one another. Rev. Robert J. Schneider Pastor | |
