Religious Education
A vibrant Religious Education program
offers religious education for students in public school.
Catechesis is the teaching of faith. For children
not attending Catholic school, catechesis is provided through the
Religious Education program. The volunteer catechists
present our young people with the values and teaching of Jesus, and then
encourage them to apply these principles in their daily lives. Through a
Christian community environment, children can express and experience
faith. The students have the opportunity to participate in active learning
experiences, group prayer and community worship. Because the
catechesis of our faith formation classes is adapted to the stages of
intellectual, spiritual, and emotional development of the growing child,
children are strongly encourage to attend Religious Education
throughout their school years.
