Holy Communion to the Sick and Homebound Volunteer ministers are available to bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound in their homes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes; just call the Parish Office to arrange a visit or to learn how to help in this ministry. Mass and Luncheon for the Sick and Homebound Every second Thursday a special Mass is celebrated for those who find regular Mass participation difficult. It is open to all of our Parishioners. A fellowship luncheon for participants and their caregivers follows the Mass. Twice a year an Anointing of the Sick is celebrated with the Mass. We always welcome new participants and we have a variety of volunteer stewardship opportunities available to help with this ministry. Anointing the Sick This sacrament is available through Communal Celebrations twice a year—in November and February—and anytime before surgery, during illness or in an emergency. Call for more information. Going to the hospital? Moving to Assisted Living or a Nursing Home? St. Raphael’s Visitors These volunteer ministers are available to provide companionship for lonely Parishioners. They visit in private homes and nursing homes, offering compassion, understanding and comfort through their visits. Call for more information.
