Join us and explore how we are nourished as we travel the "Pathway to Our Hearts". Once a week, February 21st to March 30th we will assemble in the Parish Center and break bread together in the Monastic Tradition of eating as community in silence and listening to spiritual readings and praying together. Focused on Our Lord, we will be nourished by food and the Word. A suggested donation of $2 for the Pinellas Hope Food Fund will be collected as part of this Lenten practice. All are welcome.
Come together for fellowship, prayer, and to renew your commitment to ministry. For Pastoral Care Ministers and Volunteers, Faith Formation Catechists and Volunteers, and all those interested in those ministries.

Dear Friends in Christ,
Congratulations to all those who are a part of our Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) process this year. On Sunday afternoon, February 26, they will be presented to Bishop Lynch at St. Jude Cathedral for what is called the "Rite of Election." On this First Sunday of Lent, they will be formally recognized by our bishop and "elected" as candidates for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist at the Easter Vigil here in our parish. May God continue to guide all who are coming to the faith in their journey!

We continue our own Lenten journey as well. Hopefully, this time of year is a time of renewal of faith and our understanding of the role of Jesus Christ in our lives.
And let us continue to pray for one another.
Reverend Robert J. Schneider

"After John had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the gospel of God...." - Mark 1:14 Do you ever think about how difficult it must have been for Jesus to come into Galilee, knowing that John had just been arrested for teaching the same message that Jesus was proclaiming. We must be willing to surrender completely to God, trusting that God will always give us all that we need to fulfill His plan for us.
