Our Parish

Lazarus Group is a program developed to accompany families who are alone during their time of grief.

Volunteer position: Parish friend; companion.

• Required of the volunteer: Attend the Funeral Mass.
• Experience necessary: No
• Training required: Yes
• What does training entail: One session plus Safe Environment Program Training (SEP) for Vulnerable Adults
• When does training take place: Scheduled as needed for new ministers. Required SEP is rescheduled by the diocese and may be at another location.
• Time commitment: Varies; flexible.
