Why receive the sacraments?
Simply put, Christ gives us the sacraments so that we can experience Him. The sacraments are physical and
tangible signs of the invisible grace, which is the out pouring of God's love, that He freely gives us. God uses our human senses to make us aware of His presence. The sacraments give us strength for our life journey, they initiate us, heal us, and they remind us of our unity with the Creator and one another.
